my story

Daphne Bryant is an interdisciplinary LA-based artist whose mission is to uplift women, people of color, and queer voices all over the world. You may recognize her as the founding EIC and creative director of multimedia publication Dreamworldgirl Zine.

Daphne grew up in metro-Atlanta, where a love for reading and writing blossomed. For as long as she can remember, Daphne has desperately wanted to create. She graduated from Emerson College with a BFA in Creative Writing and a minor in publishing. As an author, Daphne writes transformative YA fiction and reflective articles about pop culture and her personal experience. In her work, whether she's coordinating a photoshoot or hosting an event, she aims to heal her inner child and prove that Black girls can be heroes too.
