my story

Daphne Bryant is an interdisciplinary LA-based artist whose mission is to uplift women, POC and queer voices all over the world. She grew up in metro-Atlanta, where a love for reading and writing blossomed at an early age. For as long as she can remember, Daphne has desperately wanted to create.

She graduated from Emerson College with a BFA in Creative Writing and minor in publishing. As an author, Daphne writes transformative YA fiction and reflective articles about pop culture and her personal experience. In her work she aims to heal her inner child and prove that black girls can be heroes too. She is also the founder of multimedia publication Dreamworldgirl Zine, and in her free time peruses indie bookstores and consumes an unhealthy amount of sapphic media.
